iam also a 2006 ND applicant just applied e again in feb 2010, I was watching ur time line..have some question...did they process ur old file or created a new one...you have written file transfer what does that mean...waiting for a reply in anticipation...cheers

no, they dint process my old file. though on ecas my old file no. also shows stating that "in process" and started processing in june 2006.

File transfer means my file has been transferred from sydney,nova scotia to new delhi after initial approval.

As I got the visa now I am planning to send a letter of request to close my old file and refund my fees. My consultant says they have done refund in some cases which he filed. I dont know whether its true or not.. But no harm in sending the application.. Lets see what happens. Ill update u if anything positive.

What did CIC act with your old application, I mean with the file which you had in 2006? did you withdraw it or still it is open? did CIC ask you to withdraw it before issue your new file VISA?

My CIC dint do anything about my old file. Its open and shows "in process" on ecas. Planning to send an application to close it and request for refund.
