Are you sure about this? Isn't AOR just Acknowledgement of Receipt? Most PR applicants would get this within 48 hours of submitting their application.
I think maybe you meant the "Completeness check", which was separate from, and done after AOR but before Eligibility check.
Hi @jigzyy
Someone from the PH saw refusal notes from his GCMS notes the first week of September. Then today he got an AIP. Any thoughts? Is it possible that VO's decision changed? Lol

What was the "Eligibility" status and the comment for which he interpreted as refusal? Please get those details. Best to ask for screenshots of those two areas.
Hello guys, it has been more than 6 weeks since I received the AIP (first stage approval) and I haven't heard anything since. I have already done the biometrics, but I have not received the Biometric verification letter (BVL) and there is no need for a medical request since I'm applying from USA. I have also applied for GCMS notes and I am waiting for them.
From the forums, I noticed that if people were going to get rejected, it would be done within 2-3 weeks of receiving AIP or they wouldn't recieve it at all.
What are your thoughts? Is this a good sign that they're holding the second stage?
Visa refused after AIP, on eligibility reasons. Never felt so hopeless as a Pakistani. Didn't defer. Didn't do anything that would make them reconsider my stage 1 approval.
IELTS: 8.0
Program: Bachelor's in CompSci, University of Windsor.
And yes, rejected on the same reasons they provide to everyone - especially after AIP.
Yes, I applied under SDS. I have no previous refusals. My medical and biometrics passed months ago. No criminal record, nothing.
One of my friend who had 2 rejections before applied on may 2020 for sept intake, and not received his AIP.
He ordered for GCMS Notes on Sept 15 and received in the assessment area it's showing
Eligibility. Failed
Medical passed expired
Biometric. Passed
Criminality. Passed

On the next day after receiving GCMS he got his AIP.
