congrats. Please i submitted my application last december and iam yet to hear anything from CIO. i would like to know how long it akes them to acknowlege the applications and give one a file code.

I got my first acknowlegement of my application submission in approx 1.5 months with file code....just wait for 2-3 weeks more and then follow up, if required.....maybe because you submitted your application during holidays time period.....and VO may have short staff due to holidays....it can take some time for them to speed up....just a guess!!

Hi, Sukh420, Actually I'm packing to leave soon Aus to reach delhi and meet my family and enjoy, I'm planning to stay in Delhi for the next 2-3 months....so by that time i will search about tickets, accomodation & job etc.....not now.....for me its to say good by Australiaaaaaaaaaaaaaa............. and enjoy my left days in this beautiful country......thanks for web link....appreciated for your guidance!!
