Finally the wait is over, I got my PP stamped and got my visa and CPR letter.
Planning to go to Canada within 2 months by road.
Good luck to all. I am very thankful to all the members to exchange our views and have some advise.
Thank you.

Hi Amrith,
Buffalo was where I sumitted my application, then they transfered it to the Detroit office.
Good luck.

Congratulations AMD !
Any reason why your application took so long ? Did they request your IELTS score ?
Good Luck !

Re: I got my Visa and CPR
Hi, Yes I gave my IELTS, band 6.5. It look little long because of proof of funds was delayed by my lawyer, he forgot to send it to Detroit office. They refused my case and reopened it after I appealed and requested to reconsider, and thankfully they did.

Re: I got my Visa and CPR
Hello AMD,
As you wrote "They refused my case and reopened it after I appealed and requested to reconsider, and thankfully they did"... I submitted my application in Buffalo office in my own way in Oct, 2007 and CIC refused in year 2008 due to less number of point in my application.
Can you let me what is procedures require for re-opening of application. What is your Lawyer Name? How can I appeal?
thanks,
Abhishek

Lawyer did nothing, he is the one who screwed it. I wrote few letters to the consulate. Gave them the detail explanation that I submitted my proof of funds to my lawyer and proved it with fed ex receipts and photo copies. Some how they got convinced after 2 months when I had lost all of my hopes. Luck enough that they reopened it and gave me new file # and finally got my visa. I went personally to Detroit to get it.
Good luck all
