I have applied for temporary resident visas and received an email on august 11, 2009 to pick up documents and i received a call on august 14 for an interview. I am really wondering what could be the matter why they change their mine and want a interview please HELP.
What kind of documents did you provide when you applied???
They will ask you questions, who are you visiting in Canada? what's the reasons? for how long you been known that person? How you met him? How long you intend to stay? I hope you have a letter from your employer supporting your return to your country after your visit. They want to make sure before giving you the visa that you are returning back to your country.
I have applied with my family ( 2 children and husband) The documents i have included are:
1. employment letter for both me and husband
2. Bank statements for both me and husband
3. Letter for daughter school as the other child is 8 months old.
4. Letter from Husband school
5. Marriage Certificate and Birth Certificates for everyone.
6. Travel Itinerary
7. Letter of Invitation from Parents and their Copy of Citizen cards along with property tax of their house.
8. Passport for all of us (applicants)
9. copy of husband title for his vehicle.
You had provided a lot. All I can say they just doing an interview to have a final decision on your visa. In my opinion you shouldn't worry because you have strong proof returning back to your country.
Good luck!!!
