I have always received response from CHC ND on 13th day after sending the query.
I think it's a good idea to call them up. Have you tried to find out about the cases similar to you? Google it and I am sure you'll find some. Check what those people have done when their cases got delayed.
One more thing...I have checked your case in trackitt.com
I guess you travelled onshore after the passport was requested and submitted passport after returning back. Did you send them updated travel information while submitting the passport? If not, I suggest you fill up the relevant form and send them a scanned copy first then send the same by post. Include a letter explaining the details.
actually i ve filled through consultant...and i asked him to mail to ND.
but they told me that this is the procedure for 90 days...so we should not inquire before that...

Actually that's a brilliant idea. I'll do that. Actually, I'm still in US. So, I'll even send a Use of Rep form in the name of my father so that there is a way he can receive the passports on my behalf.

Do not wait for your consultant to contact in case you are not comforable about the delay. If it's New Delhi theh go to https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi and fill up the form, send the enquiry by yourself. It will not delay your process further.

I know its a foolish question. But I got my visa after 6 months. Can you guess the reason behind it? Will it affect my visa status after landing at the airport or in further procedure?

All you need to do is to land before your VISA expires. Please go through the instruction pages they have sent with the CPR Form. Everything is written there.
