I am on work permit and would like to apply for PR. but my spouse is on TRV with me in canada now. we wish to apply for PR. my question is can my spouse apply for open work permit along with/ after Submitting our application for PR ?

If you are on a work permit as a skilled worker, or on an open permit but working in a skilled position, your spouse can apply for a work permit based on your permit regardless of you applying for PR.

If you are low skilled, then no.

thank you for your reply ..I am a Skilled worker. ..so regardless that the name of my spouse and me are already there in the application for PR. she can apply for an open work permit ? just confirming . thank you
