How to use gift deed as POF for Canada Express Entry

Hi Everyone,

We have a fixed deposit of CAD $14,000 on my brother's name in his bank account. I don't have a account with the same bank and can't open a new one with them as I am living in Australia. Can I transfer this amount to existing HDFC Indian account and get a gift deed affidavit from my brother for Proof of funds?

Also my HDFC account has not been active and haven't deposited anything in past 2 years. In that case can i show POF from HDFC Bank and bank statements from my Australian bank account? What will be better option for me to show the POF given above scenario.
