I need to sign and put dates on the forms considering that it gonna take 1 week or so for the forms to reach the sponsor and 10-15 days to reach CIC.
1. Should I put today's date using adobe on all the forms (mine and sponsors)?
2. Should I sign my documents with today's date and ask my sponsor to put the date when she gets the package?
3. Should I just sign all the forms and not put any date by myself and ask my sponsor to put a date on all the forms manually (handwritten) when she gets the forms?
I signed the actual date - for the boxes that ask for most current address history or work history I left the most recent box blank and wrote in "present". Keep in mind if you're using the new forms don't bother sending them the Schedule A form. I included this up front but they just got my application 2 weeks ago and requested me to upload this electronically again.
If you and the sponsor aren't together I would just make sure you sign them on the actual date you're signing. Wouldn't make sense to have the same signature date if it's clear you and the sponsor aren't together for this process. Doesn't matter to the CIC, as long as it's signed and dated you're good. I doubt they'll pay much attention to the date you signed the form as long as it's somewhat recent.
