Hi...I got a question regarding putting a date on the application forms. Our plan is this. I'm going to print out forms, sign and date them and then send them to my husband to Canada so he could sign them too. What date should he put on them? Does it have to be the same date that I (the principal applicant) put on them when signing (even though actually he'd only be able to get those forms a few days later after I send them) or does he have to put the actual date when he does receive those forms and signs them. I don't know if it matters to them...I was thinking of maybe putting the same dates everywhere for my husband as well just so he doesn't get confused but I was wondering if it would be OK to do that. Thanks, any ideas would be appreciated!
Just one more question...is it ok if I put dates on those forms by hand or is it necessary to use that date selection tool on the computer for everyone of those forms? Thank you

By hand if you need to is fine... There are a couple of instances throughout the app that I have had to do something on the forms in ink.. As long as its legible.
If validating you will be required to put in a "dummy date" and then white out over it to write in what you want.

When I helped my sister in sponsoring our parents, we just put an approximate date on the form. If you have an idea or a date as to when you will mail the application, you can put that date so that you don't have to worry about it.
