Hello! Hoping someone can advice me on how to move my savings from UAE to Canada. My UAE residence visa will get cancelled on June 30 and I’m planning my move on August 8th as I can’t move there earlier. My EID expires August 1st so I need to close my UAE bank accounts before moving to Canada.
- I have 2 saving accounts in ENBD and FAB
- I don’t have a Canadian bank account
- I have a brother with Canadian student visa who has an account there with CIBC
- currently leaning towards forex cards, not sure if this recommended or available in UAE?

You can speak with your bank about your situation and see if they can suspense the fund and remit later. I guess you can have standing instruction for future remittance....
