I am gathering info for one of my friends who is working as a food counter attendant in Alberta. His work permit will be expired in Feb, 2015 and he has around two years of experiences in food service industry (abroad and/in Canada).
His employer does not assist to apply for AINP but they will help to extend his contract for another two years. They don't assist employees to get the PR and work for them but they always hire TFW and spend thousands of dollar for employees' transportation and consulting fees. It's kind of weird and don't know what's their philosophy behind it.
How can he get PR while working as a Food Counter Attendant in AB? Which is the easiest province to get PNP approval for semi-skilled worker in Canada?

1. PNP in Alberta for Semi Skilled, so the employer has to sponsor, if the employer is not willing then your friend is out of luck for PR in PNP.
2. Check them all here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp
That will not be possible at the moment because of the moratorium on the TFWs in the "Food Services Sector". He would need a new LMO to switch employers, and they are not being granted.

Yet another person screwed over by this accursed moratorium. Also, in Alberta you need 3 years experience for food counter attendant before you can become a provincial nominee.
Through Noc 6711 , am I eligible to file PR through front line workers category. This means I have been working in Domino's as a CSR for almost 2 years and completed 1560 hours with valid study permit. So, I am eager of applying PR through essential worker category.
Can anyone help me with this?
