How to get Family Reunification Letter from IRCC

My wife and I have already been approved for travel. My kids are the ones who need the letter. We were told by the immigration officer when we tried to travel last week. They already showed our documents to a Canadian liaison officer and was advised to get a letter for my kids. Since our travel is essential and we can't leave our kids alone, we should be approved in principle.

Your wife would only have permission to fly if she has a confirmed job in Canada. Otherwise she needs to be included in the letter.

Amazing! I am on closed wp and my wife and kid is on visitor, we want to fly to canada together, i’ve applied on tuesday, do you think they will approve my case? Thanks

I don't know what their reasons are for approving/denying. We just tried since my wife and I are already approved for travel, it makes sense that we bring our kids with us when we travel. That's the only reason I stated in my request. And they approved it.

Sorry for asking, but if you could provide a link to apply for the reunification letter, that would be awesome! I am a Canadian PR living in Canada and my wife is in India currently and she has a valid Tourist visa.

I got reply within 5 days, and they requested additional info and they replied me in 3 days. Very fast! I got approve for whole family

I think family members of PR or citizens are exempt and can travel without letter.

My noc is 2175, but im sure its not about your noc, its about your specific case, please email them again.

Hi, does anybody know how much time it is taking these days for the authorization to come through. I am on an open work permit - working full time in the IT Industry and wife has a visitor visa for Canada. She is currently in the US.

I have applied five days ago.
