Hello all! I was curious about the biometrics process that I will have to give for my permanent residence application/spouse sponsorship application that is inland. The location nearest to us to give biometrics is at London airport in Ontario and I was wondering what would I do to start the procedure? Would I just walk into the airport and ask where I would get my biometrics done? It's just a little confusing to me. Thank you in advance!

There are currently no VACs in Canada to complete biometrics which is why applicants who apply inland are currently exempt from this requirement. So, if you’re saying you applied inland, then you don’t need to worry about it.

Hi, as of December 3rd there are collection centre for biometrics in Canada. I submitted my application in November and haven't received AOR yet. For those of us who submitted while still exempt from giving biometrics, what do we do now?

Curious about this as well. I submitted October 30, 2019. AOR received December 24, 2019. I'm assuming we will have to give biometrics inland, but am just waiting to see. I don't mind giving biometrics, but the timing just complicates applications during this transitional time frame!

Hello, I applied by paper on Nov 25 and the application was received on Sydney on Nov 19. Got AOR on Jan 30.
Last week I got a refund of CAD 170 in my credit card for the biometrics I paid when sent the application.
Did any of you happen the same?

I paid 170 because we are 2 people in the applications. I was told in another thread of this forum, that those who applied before Dec 3 are expected to do biometrics.
