how to follow up WORK PERMIT APPLICATION for LCP applicant

anyone can help me how to follow up my application i sent last may 02,2012 for work permit under LIVE IN CAREGIVER PROGRAM..its almost four months now since i submitted my completed documents and till now i have not hear anything from the embassy like for some confirmation that they got my documents...please someone share to me what to do..

The processing time is 20 months for LCP, so they won't answer any inquiries before that time has passed.

Did you send it by mail or thru a courier? if thru a courier then you can call the agency that picked up the application package.

i sent it by courierand by the use of tracking numbers of the courier i saw that they delivered the documents to the embassy on May 8,2012..

So you know it reached the embassy. They sometimes do not send AOR so you just have to wait till they communicate with you.

Hello fhel22...how's the application going? any updates? my sister has same application as yours, submitted last Sept. 27 and received by the Embassy on Sept. 29, but until now no acknowledgement receipt. I was worried about her application but when i read your post its almost same as what happened to hers.

I would really appreciate if you can post any updates to have.
