How to calculate my working experience as Childhood Educator

Hi, experts. Please help.
Under the Alberta opportunity stream, when do I start counting my working experience as Childhood Educator?
If I am holding Childhood Educator Level 1 & already working in the daycare, am I able to count these time as working experience?
As for my understanding, Alberta opportunity stream, early childhood educator Level 1 is not eligible to apply for the nomination. In this case, I can ONLY count my time when I pass my Level 2 certificate?

Do I understand this correctly?
