I am enrolled in a two years masters program, I arrived Canada along 2 kids who are attending elementary school, now I want to call my daughters residing with my mom in my home country, I want to bring them here to BC Canada...can anyone guide me the appropriate route to do it? few friends suggested to bring them on visit visa and change the status.....???I want to go through acceptable legal route that do not elicit problem in future....If I call them on study permit, will it be an open study permit or I would have to find admission first in school? my daughters come under minor children ....please anyone reply who has knowledge ...

my 2 kids came along me.. I applied at the same time...ofcourse its not the same things, there are technicalities in it that's why I post it into forum....any value able suggestion that can help?
how rude you guys are replying????I am an international student in Canada and I am proceeding with this forum from beginning of application...and had encountered very good friends...from whom suggestions I become able to apply successfully, calling my kids as an international student should be addressed at which section of this forum????if you don't hold appropriate knowledge you are not the person to reply my post understand!
You are an international student. You have your permit and you are here studying. You went here for advice on how to proceed with your study permit application. You had good advice.
Now you want to bring your kids. There is a section on this site about family class immigration. If you want to have good advice, ask there.
Don't assume I am rude. I am giving you advice on how to best find what you want to know. When you assume incorrectly you only make an ass out of me, not you.
Good luck finding what you want to know. I hope you are reunited with your kids soon.
hmmm...now the advice came from you....I posted the same query at another section and there another member suggested me to post it at this forum because I am an international student....anyhow after having hopeless replies from here I contacted immigration office services for student and I found my reply....and thankfully I was not advised there to contact family section or any other section....I am a student so my queries related to my current issues are linked to student status....I am advised to call my kids by applying study permit for them....I am sharing it here ..so it might be helpful to any other mom planning to continue studies at Canada...Thanks for your good concern anyways..
