How to apply to spousal sponsorship after withdrawing my asylum claim?

I have an asylum claim application, and I’m still waiting for the hearing.
My wife is a PR holder. I would like to withdraw my asylum claim and apply to inland spousal sponsorship

What are the procedures to do it and how?
Do I need a lawyer?
I will do it in Ontario

Do not withdraw the asylum claim. This will trigger the removal order.

Keep the asylum claim in progress and have your wife sponsor you for PR in parallel.

I already sent the withdrawal form yesterday, but I didn’t get any approval or call from RPD

That is bad. I would try to cancel the withdrawal. I don't know if that is possible. Withdrawing activates your removal order. This was 100 percent the wrong thing to do.

Most likely you will receive removal order 15days after they process your withdraw request. I dont think you are able to cancel withdraw that was signed and sent by yourself

Is there anyway to stay the removal order after I have done that? May I apply to humanitarian visa?

H&C doesn’t cancel removal orders and processing times are close to 2 years these days so not an option. If you are contacted by CBSA you can try to get removal order put on hold. Would suggest getting your lawyer involved if you are contacted by CBSA.

Can I go to RPD office and ask the registry to cancel the process of my form? Any hope to do that?

What will be my status in Canada if I received a confirmation letter of asylum withdrawal but my removal order is put on hold? Will I be allowed to work? I have a valid work permit, what will happen to it if I remained staying in Canada with such status?

I don't know if you can go to the RPD office in person and if they will be able to help you. You can certainly try.

I don't quite understand your second question. If you receive confirmation that your asylum application is withdrawn, your removal order will become active - it will not be on hold.

if I called CBSA and asked them to put my removal order on hold because my wife will submit a sponsor application for me, will they be cooperative?

If you can't cancel the withdraw of your asylum application, then you'll want to hire an immigration lawyer at this point.

The removal order should overrule the WP meaning so you will have to apply for a new WP.
