Asylum Claim in Canada

I am planning to claim asylum after landing in Toronto. I want to know how to claim asylum and where I should go and apply for the claim. Do I need to go to police station or any immigration authority? I know that they will get all the initial information from my side and give me the date to submit the application. During this time is there any accommodation provided? Please help me the complete procedure. Thanks in advance
