how soon can international student can apply for PR

AS MY SON IS STUDYING IN CANADA HE IS DOING ONE YEAR POST GARDUATE DIPLOMA IN CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, AFTER ONE YEAR WHAT HE SHOULD DO SO THAT HE CAN APPLY FOR P.R, SHOULD HE CONINUE HIS STUDY FOR ANOTHER COURCE OR START WORK FOR EXPERIENCE

well ideally ur son should do another 1 year program so he gets 3 years work permit later and can work for 3 years in canada. now that being said PR is another story. with new express entry system it is getting difficult for fresh graduates to get PR unless ur son has selected a field which is in demand and can get an LMIA. just an exaggeration but ur chances of getting PR in express entry system r better than ur son lol. i am not sure and this is just my personal opinion but ur son could work for what ever time he gets after his first year of education then go to his home country and then get a skilled job in home country get a few years of experience and then apply for PR.
