Until the visa office issues a positive selection decision and sends you the paperwork. No one really knows how long that will take in each case, as every case is unique.
Does the Visa Office notify applicant(FSW) for medical either through e-mail or snailmail???

Yes. I received my medical request in the form of a written letter, along with an IMM 1017 to take to the DMP.
