is it by Chance that After getting the Passport request letter, and Submitting it, they can still decline stamping the visa on passport. Worried because its taking too long.
I don't think they will deny stamping after PPR is received. I have not seen it in any forums so far. Processing time is long I guess. My CIC decision was changed to approved on 15-Mar. But, VFS portal still shows being processed.VAC call center informed this morning of high volumes being handled by NDVO to be the reason for delay

I share similar fears as I also submitted on 14th March and haven’t seen any update since then

It won’t get rejected after PPR bro. For March applicants it is taking more time, I hope our application approves till 29th march beacause embassy will be closed from 30th april to 2nd april ( public holidays )

I have a question if have four total family members in the application including the main applicant then could that also be one of the reasons for the delay? Also, my medicals are expiring in the next one and a half month, so would it be a good idea to email the embassy and request them to expedite my case?

When is the expiry of your medical? Mine is 02-June and the PPR has that urgent note of the expiry. I’ve emailed SGVO to expedite and they acknowledged it so I got our passport last week. But for some reason, NDVO ignored that urgent note.

I emailed NDVO an hour back, copied CPC-Ottawa and raised CSE too. :)

Mine will be expired on 16th May so I believe I should also go ahead and email them but what is a CSE and how do I raise it? And sorry what is CPC Ottawa?

CSE - Case Specific Enquiry
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

CPC-Ottawa - one of the visa office. Their email is CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and I usually get a reply from them within 24 hours

Subject line of my email is “URGENT: Application No XXXXXX Medical expiry dd/mm/yyyy”

Are you applying outside Canada? Have you already booked your flight? If you did, you can also include your flight booking in your email.

But in my ppr letter they never mentioned the word urgent

My PPR letter is from SGVO and sent through my CIC account. Where is your VO?

Yes outside Canada from Saudi Arabia and my VO is Riyadh. I haven’t booked my tickets yet as I wasn’t sure how long they will take to return our passports.
