I too submitted my Passport at VFS Chandigarh on 14th, Its still with embassy and they haven't updated anything on cic website too

Currently it is taking around 9-10 business days to approve and then u will get the passport in 2-6 days depending on couries service.

Most probably you will get the approved message tomorrow. Check it tomorrow or day after tomorrow. And please let us know on this forum .

Dont think that is a Good option until its an Emergency.

Yeah he submitted on : 7 th Feb and on 14th he received a text from VFS about collection of Passport.
