How Much Time It Takes From Passport to Visa Stamped via VFS

When did you submit the Passport? And which VFS?

My husband submitted on dec 7, reached delhi on 11 dec, at vfs bangalore.

we got a email saying the passport has been dispatched from delhi, how long does it take to receive it at vfs bangalore.

1. To submit the passport to VFS, do we need to book an appointment or do we walk-in?
2. Does VFS Pune have a photo booth?

Hi guys. I have received visa application tracking Id on 4th Jan after submitting passports in VFS Hyd. When tried checking status with tracking ID am seeing message as no records found. Does it usually take time to get updated into system?

i got msg after submission of passports as " ***** has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office,Bangalore on 04/01/2018". when I checked status today on VFS site i see msg as "

Visa application, tracking ID No.***** is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI" . is this the usual process? coz the file first reached Bangalore office and then to New Delhi

not got any email but CIC is updated as APPROVED.....yaaaaaayaaaaayyyyyy.
vfs says passport in transit....will collect tmrw forsure....

1. no appointment required...reach early in the day as it takes approx 1-2 hrs depending on the queue...
2. call contact centre for update on this

You will have to wait for 10 days more. 23-26 the embassy was shut.

Hopefully you will get it by 17th Jan

My cic got updated as approved today though I haven't recvd any email alert. VFS tracking site hasn't been updated either as of now. Hope to get the passport in couple of days

Has anyone received their passport submitted on dec 22 ?
I submitted my passport at vfs on 22 dec and it reached Delhi on 27. Since then there is no update on vfs website and cic as well.[/QUO

Received my stamped passport today. Overjoyed. But with that also comes the realization that there will be no longer the nervous excitement of refreshing the CIC page and this forum multiple times in a day to check for the latest status.
