Hi All, I hv submitted my passport on 17th May from VFS office Hyderabad, on same day got a message that your passport is in transit to IRCC, New Delhi....its been a week and no update as of now.... (ICT Visa)... any idea how long does it take usually

Please does anyone know how it takes on an average to receive a stamped passport after submitting it at the VFS office?

I am from Nigeria, I received a passport submission request for my PR application. I submitted my passport on April 16, and I received a confirmation email from VFS on April 23 that it had arrived at the Canadian Visa Office in Ghana and was under processing.

But up till now It is still showing processing and I’m starting to get concerned.

I have tried to follow up with the VFS team and I was informed that they confirmed that it is still under processing at the Ghana Canadian Visa Office and they have no control over when it will be processed. They advised me to remain patient but I’m starting to get worried because this is the 6th week since I submitted the passport.

Please can anyone advise on what to do?

I submitted my parents passport on May 20th. Flight booked for June 10th. Still under process. Did you receive your passport?
 
Hey guys! Anyone submitted passport in timeframe 24th May I submitted on 24th and is under process from 27th. Any idea what’s the ideal time I will receive my passport back?
 
Received my POE letter and counterfoil number today but passport is still in transit to IRCC Delhi since may 17th. Anyone experienced the same?

As you might know that April 14 and 17 is the statutory holiday in Canada hence at Canadian Embassy
You sent your passport on April 13 which they won't get it til April 18, because of weekend, they will get it on Tuesday April 18.
If your online application says its approved than it's definitely approved.
Stamping doesn't take long, transportation to and from VFS is the key factor in time.
Normally you will get it stamped back within 5-7 business days.

Monday 24th june I submitted my passport and today (26th june) Igot mail is passport ready to pick up.

is this normal ?
