I got married last month, but my FSW application is in progress(4 months passed). Now I want to let CIC know about my marriage, I am afraid that they will reopen my application to upload spouse information. I am wondering , how much time they give to upload those, since my spouse doesnt have all those documents.
My PR is underprocess, 4 months has been passed. I got married lastmonth. I am afraid, if I let CIC know and CIC gives me only 7 days, it won't be possible for me to upload anything. In such case, what do you advice? Is there any option that I can choose not to accompany my spouse now and do it later? or seek extra time from them?

My advice would be to start collecting all the docs immediately.. Since you've already crossed 4 months, PPR might not be too far.. So u can inform them once you get the PPR email..
In the doc list, I guess only PCC & Marriage Certificate might take more time..
If you are married in the middle of process CIC will ask for Medical, PCC, Marriage certificate.. they dont ask for ECA (WES) .. for my friend they gave 30 days to submit the docs .. but CIC expects you to update your status through CSE when it is changed ..
I got my PPR before my wedding.. I informed them of the change immediately after my wedding (ofcourse, after getting my marriage certificate which I fast tracked & got it the next day itself)
You won't need WES, IELTS for your spouse as quoted by mssm. The time provided to submit the docs may depend on when you inform them, since mine was towards the end I was given only 7days to submit...
