hi guys just wanted to know if anyone have any idea how much longer i have to wait after i had a personal interview (outland) where i was told i got approved and was sent to do finger prints and mail it to the immigration office as well as requested to have my spouse pay the right of perminent resident fee in canada?
i had the interview dec 18 and in ecas it changed a few days later to "in process" from dec18 i sent them all the things they wanted really fast i know they got it now im waiting.
anyone have an idea how long should i expect?
thanks!
your case is similar to mine how was your interview?

i just want to buy my ticket already but i cant because i need to wait for immigration

weve been waiting for almost 2yrs and still not completed , interview was ok, dont know the outcome tough possibly medrequest 8) but waiting for that email :'(
It depends on the VO and on each case - for some it is a matter of days, and for others it will be months... so don't think too much about it, nobody apart from the VO can tell how long it will be - might be a week, might be a few more months.... The officer at your interview told you that she believed your relationship was genuine (in that sense you "passed" the test) and ask you to complete the finger prints + pay the RPRF, which is a good sign - normally they only ask people to pay the RPRF once they are ready to issue the visa, so you should be pretty close to the end...
In your case, because you have a one year ban from Canada, I doubt that they will issue your visa before you can return to Canada anyway, it wouldn't make much sense - so a few more weeks, and you should hear from them. In the meantime - spend time with friends and family at home, enjoy the nice weather etc, because you'll be moving to Canada soon - and won't be able to enjoy the same ( of course it will be nice to be with your wife again). Prepare as many things as possible, and one you get the PR, the only thing left should be to buy your ticket..
Good luck,
Sweden
it's always like this when it gets to the end.... but look at it - you've waiting a long time now, it's only matter of a few more days/weeks, and then you'll be done - no more waiting! and each day that passes brings you one day closer to seeing your wife again - so it's worth it! in that sense - the more days, the better!
