How long will CIC take to return my passport?

Hi,

I am a Quebec skilled worker applicant and I got the passport request on August 6, 2019. i sent the passport on the same date and the tracker said the passport got delivered on August 8, 2019. Till this date, I didn't get any update on my application. Is it normal? 2 weeks are over and no update on CIC and return tracker is not yet activated. Any leads will be deeply appreciated. Anyone have similar experience. Thanks. I am an inland applicant.

Passport sent to IRCC: July 13, 2019
Passport received by IRCC: July 16, 2019
Application finalized and approved: August 14, 2019
Tracking: I forgot to note it down
Passport received: Not yet

Sorry to barge in but I have a question about (my) following situation:

- Applied under the common law sponsorship with my Canadian partner for PR (in Ontario) in June 2019 from Germany
- Already in Canada since end of August
- Provided biometrics and fingerprints Sept 19th
- Online appl. status: expected to be finalised June 2020
- On October 1st I get a mail from CIC Mississauga that my application for PR is ready to being finalised and asking for me to send the 2 new photos, passport, etc. + return envelope
- Sent on October 3rd via Xpress
- Was delivered to CPC Ottawa on Oct 4th
- Haven't heard back since even though processing time is supposed to be 19 days. Have tried calling but it says no information on my UCI.

Reason to worry? Should I try getting through to an agent?
Or is it just a matter of waiting a few more days.

Sorry to know your plight. I do not think they deliver on the weekend. Hopefully you will receive it on Monday, but be prepared to call them.

I also received an email and asked our passports. we mailed them to the same address that you sent.
I wonder what they will give us? it that PR card? what they want to do with passports.
is that canada PR? OR sth else.

I received passport request on 8th dec,2017!
Sent my passport on 9 th dec, 2017
They recieved it on 14 th dec , 2017
I got it back with copr on 12 th Jan , 2018
