Okay sounds good, so where I recieved AOR on the May 5th 2017 what would be the next step for me then? I am applying Inland so just wondering what's going to happen next.
Also, is there a chance they send you SA after AOR with Inland or is it normally around 6/12 months after AOR as the processing time is meant to be 12 months for the whole process for Inland and Outland.

You will likely receive a request to do medical and to provide police certificate. I can't really tell you the timeline, but I suggest you to follow the 2017 inland thread. You will get more up to date information. Then you will receive SA (sponsor approval), then AIP (approval in principle). Then the DM (decision made) letter and finally the landing appointment.

Ah okay that sounds good, I submitted my original Police Certificate from the UK but it was out of date which I only realized afterwards, so I applied recently for a brand new one I can submit.

Yes but it's getting faster. We are reaching 21 months in a few days, and we are not done yet but very close to (only waiting for a landing appointment). However most people currently get processed in about 13-14 months. It will likely be around the 12 months that CIC promised when your turn will come.

That was definitely a long time but very worth it so you can be with your partner, you must have submitted your application during the old processing times?

Yes it was written 26 months when we applied. For us the critical step was to get AIP to get health insurance. We got AIP in March, and with the up to 3 months before coverage starts, my wife will finally get RAMQ (Quebec Healy insurance) on June 1st. And the landing should occur really anytime soon. We were told that the processing time was 8 weeks for Montreal office, we are at 7 weeks after DM.
Sorry to ask?, how long did it take for you to get your SA? DID YOU FILE INLAND OR OUTLAND? PROCESSING TIMES ARE SHOWING 12 MONTHS WHERE MY HUSBAND IS FROM THEY TRY TO HAVE THE WHOLE FILE COMETRD AND MY HUSBAND IN CANADA.
