This question is targeted at persons who already received an IEC Working Holiday Visa:
How long is the letter of introduction - which is issued by the CIC to enter Canada and which has to be shown at a port of entry in order to receive a Working Holiday visa - valid?
Do the length of validity of this letter vary from person to person?
How much time did you have to enter Canada?

Does this one year apply to everyone or are there exceptions?
I´m asking because I applied for the Working Holiday visa from Canada and I am about to leave Canada (as a visitor) in March. I suppose I will receive the letter before my departure. I am not planning to cross the border and immediately come back to Canada (and begin with the Working Holiday), but I am planning to return not until August of 2014 to Canada to start the Working Holiday.
Do you see any reason for alteration on the length of validity of the letter?
