A quick question for the forum members:
How long does it take for the local CIC office to withdraw one's citizenship application?
Thank you.
you can wear bikini in the oath, they will refuse you to appear, then you can judicial review this federal motion.
this takes long time to be in the federal court, you will finally win based on the niqad case.
your successful citizenship application outcome will not change, and you will successfully delay the process.
so in case the reason your withdraw is not to be a canadian so early, this can be your option, and not risking your next application slowness ;D

Nah. Been a month since I withdrew. I called today and the call center agent said it could take up to six month.
Hi. Rayan.
Hope you are well heard about your application and your withdraw case.
Once you send the letter to CIC and than they will close your file.
You are free to apply again and write on the top of application that you have
applied earlier in the year ..... and than you will re-apply hope you have
all supporting documents and proof of residency to re apply.
Good luck..
Am also still waiting...... My file now show Decision made.
after 47 months...... have applied much more than 1095 required days
and file stuck with resident questionnaire and office between Scarborough and
St.Clair. Goodluck..

Hey thanks. But it is not that simple. I am curious as to how many days or weeks it takes for the local CIC office to fully close a file.
