does anyone know how long it takes to get file number (aor) after pr application? I know earlier it took 1.5 months but is it taking longer now? I had applied for pr in august 2015 and today is 22 nov 2015 and still havent got file number. I had applied for my work permit extension based on my ainp on 29 august without file number as my work permit was expiring on 5 th september. Cic officers will be opening my work permit extension application after 4 months from application( around last week of december) as it takes 120 days to process wp application. I am worried because if i dont receive file number before they open my application it will be rejected.
