I submitted my outland spousal sponsorship application back in August 2020, I received AOR January 14 2021 but nothing after. Usually people get SA few days after also biometrics and medical requests. Just wondering how long does it take to get sponsor approval?

It's increasing my anxiety and it's just odd, most of the people are getting it literally few days after AOR.
Does it have something to do with checking off the box that says withdrawing application if not approved as sponsor?
Although most people pass as a sponsor there are obviously some who dont. I feel its kind of simple from the day a sponsor submits. Everyone knows if they have had legal trouble, or on welfare or dont have enough finances. There is nothing to worry about as long as you know you qualify imo.
well my 2019 income was low as I spent half of the year back home, but as I know so far there is no income requirement also I was at least expecting biometrics and medical requests for my spouse
No income requorement stated is correct. But they clearly look at a source of income or savings. As it states must support spouse for three years. Relax. You will be fine.

I'd recommend sending a webform. My sponsor approval was approved the day after AOR, but I didn't find out until 3 weeks later because the letter was sent by regular mail. It's possible you have received SA but your letter was lost in the mail.
You should call IRCC and ask if there are any notes on your file, some agents are nice enough to tell you. Also, you should request GCMS notes and see what's the delay.
