How long does it take the visa office to issue the visa?

Hello,

Can anyone please tell me from your experience how long it takes the Cairo visa immigration office to issue the PR visa?
I applied for my mother's sponsorship back in 2008 and, to make a long story short, I received an e-mail asking to send her passport by courrier on Dec 23rd 2012 as they are ready to issue the visa and that she has to do landing prior to april 19th, 2013. The passport was sent Dec 29th 2012, does anyone knows how long it would take them to return the passport with the visa back? Sometimes, I get worried. What if it got lost at their end!?

Please do not worry my friend,
As long as you send it thru a trust return mail, it won't be lost on the way as you can track thru the website, you'll get the passport very soon.
