When immigration office posts " medical received" does this mean everything else has been done already? Like background ect.? My status just changed to day to read " medical received"

It means that they have received your medical reports from the doctor office and everything is fine with the reports. Now they are going to start work on your file in terms of security, criminality.
Hi folks, my wife and I are both studying PhD in Canada. we have started our immigration application under skilled worker- PhD stream on Jan 2013. short the long story, our application process timeline went as below:
March 10,2014 --> asked for complementary docs (I missed this email)
May 4,2014 --> asked again for complementary docs.
June 3,2014 --> Eligibility confirmation email and RPR fee was requested
June 4,2014 --> Medical forms were sent from CIC
June 25,2014 --> Medical results were submitted to CIC
July 2,2014 --> my CIC status has been changed to "Medical results have been received"
My CIC status shows "In Process" and has 3 lines as:
1.We received your application for permanent residence on January 25, 2013.
2.We started processing your application on June 3, 2014.
3.Medical results have been received.
So am just wondering do you have any idea how long more I should wait for passport request? I know 3 of my friends who were asked between 14 days to 35 days for passport after they did they medical but I have been waiting a long time since now!
FILE RECEIVED ON AUG 1 2014
MEDICAL RECEIVED ON NOV 4 2014
ANY GUESS WHEN WILL I GET PASSPORT/LANDING FEES REQUEST
Hi prabh777
There is no rule as such when you will get passport request.its 17 months long process they may ask you pay RPRF anytime if they need it.In my experiences Late RPRF request is best.
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 14, 2014
2. Medical results have been received.
No other information related to processing of the application is being mentioned. It's been 2 months Medical line is updated.
3 Months back I only received Medical request, no Biodata update, RPRF request. Awaiting for Biodata update, RPRF request and PPR.
Any comment why Processing information not being mentioned and how long it would take till PPR.
ok here is my status... I have no idea how long it´ll take until something happen... I applied from MB... My visaoffice is Ottawa... category: pnp
1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 23, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received.
The med results was received somewhen end of August/beginning of september and I still waiting for an answere for something. Can anybody help me to find out how long it´ll take until I get my PR?
Hi, i also have the same questions. As per the timeline of the others in the other forums, after their medical results have been received, the response from CIC ranges from less than a month to 4 months.
As for my timeline, my application was received by CIC last August 2014 & my MR was received in November 2014. Until now, after almost 3 months, my status is still the same:
1. Application...
2. Medical Results have been received.
