Could somebody please answer the following question: if someone is working on a work permit and gets a LMO/LMIA, does LMO/LMIA stay valid until the work permit expires? Or does LMO/LMIA have its own expiration date?
LMOs/now LMIAs are valid for six months but if you get a work permit based on an LMIA, then you generally don't need a new LMIA for Express Entry. Your work permit has to remain valid when applying for PR.
