How long does a IEC candidate have to enter Canada from their POE Letter?

Hello everyone, I've read around but I I'm just wanting to be 100% clear on this so I don't mess things up.

Let's say I apply to IEC 2018( or start of 2019), for the 2019 pool and I get lucky and chosen and receive my letter of introduction or POE in June 2019.

How long do I have to enter Canada? and will it effect my IEC visa duration. So I'm eligble for a 2 year visa , if I get my POE in June 2019 then don't enter canada until Jan 2020 will I only have a valid IEC visa for 1 year and 6 months or does getting the visa when you enter Canada mean it started the moment you land in Canada?

A POE letter will have an enter by date usually 12 months from the day it is issued. So if issued June 2019 then by same date or day before in June 2020 is date by which must enter Canada.

Your IEC work permit will be issued at the border and valid for 2 years from the date you arrive, assuming you have 2 years travel insurance and access to 2500 CDN. So if you arrive Jan 2020 then 2 years from the date you arrive, so Jan 2022.
