I have been approved a 2 year IEC visa for which I have up to one year to enter Canada with my port of entry letter, I planned on moving to Canada and doing this in February 2020 but as my girlfriend lives in Canada, I want to visit for 2 weeks next month as a tourist and I don't want this entry to start the count down on my working holiday visa.
Would this be possible or if I enter will my visa start?
Surely if I explain to the officer they would understand right?
I have ties to my home country (UK) and a return flight too as proof
