How long between AOR and SA usually?

Hi all,
I received AOR from CIC on Feb 21. CIC received the application December 9. Ecas acknowledges receipt.

How long does it usually take for them to send out SA? I see on the website it says ecas is usually updated on a Tuesday. I've also seen other people who have received AOR and SA within a few days of each other.

We are filing as outland, living in the UK.

Getting anxious any advice!

I was 7 days, I received SA back on Jan 23rd for an Oct 28th application. There is no set time, as some people are taking a few days to a week while others are taking weeks. CIC likes to change things up once they feel we're catching on to their ways

Last year they stopped giving out AOR all together . It just really depends no one can really tell you. Have a look on the thread. Londout outland spreadsheet .You can find it under the london outland thread under andrew-brit.

We have similar timelines on the spread sheet, I got SA last night 05/03/15 - hoping since Canada House has re-opened last month the times will improve. Good luck to you

The irony is, I am often in the area of Canada House and have witnessed the re-furb, all the time thinking - my future once again lies within these walls!

Canada house?

Canada House is in London U.K. thats where Jonesy application is . Sarnia you may have the same time line but yours is being processed in Ottawa . All offices have different time frames for applications.Some British apps get sent to Ottawa,or can stay in Mississauga or gets processed in London.

I'm aware of all this, thank you. I didn't know if the person who posted about Canada House was speaking of something in Ottawa. Their location was not made known.

I'm sure there must be a Canada house too in Ottawa lol i had to go to Canada house in London too for an interview before i came to Canada . Hopefully Ottawa will start to move. Right now Ottawa and London is about the same processing time.
