Yes, just refer to the photos or receipts or whatever throughout the paperwork. I had photos numbered and when writing out the development of relationship question, and was talking about a certain part of our relationship, I wrote (please see photos 12-14) for example.
I'm just going to post in here again to move this back to the top. I love this page!!!
The tips on here were a life saver. We changed ours a bit to fit our application but man, I'd have died without this!
Its all just about what you have and feel you need. Our app was around 300 pages with all the extra question pages and how we formatted it. If we formatted tighter it would have been less.
Hi guys, just want to say that this forum is great and I am getting so much information from it. And this topic is very helpful, I just have a quick question - when you write your essay, do you actually write it by hand or type on the computer? thanks

I think its best to type it so that the officer doesn't sit there trying to understand your handwriting Even if your handwriting is super clear I would still type it. Plus, we spent some time editing our essay after writing it to clarify some points that could be confusing, and that is easier done if you are doing it on your computer

This is so beneficial as my wife and I are just beginning the process of spousal sponsorship (She's Canadian and I'm from the U.S.). Question for you: did you include your police certificate with original application or wait til step 2?

Hello. You will need to include it with the original application. They will check if your application is complete before processing the sponsorship part and then forward everything to the embassy where the second part will be processed. Don't worry that they will expire before they get the app at the embassy, the certificates need to be valid on the date of your application being received in Missassauga. If you don't include the certificates and they have to request them you will lose time as they count your application as received on the date of receiving the full package, which means your app goes back to the beginning of the line.
hi guys!!i will be going home and get marry this coming october.then i will sponsor my husband my question is does he need to get police clearance here in canada as he work here before for more than a year but he is in philipines now?thank u!!
Based on what I have seen...most people divide their application into 3 parts:
Part 1 - Sponsor forms and supporting documents
Part 2 - Applicant (spouse) forms and supporting documents
Part 3 - Relationship evidence (photos, communication logs, tickets / receipts, testimonials, etc)
Hope this helps.
There is very detailed information if you go back to the first post in this thread
