How Express Entry Draw work

Dear All Friends.

This Thread is for the procedures how express entry draw take candidate in to the specific draw.

+ Take candidate in any specific date of each month ?
+ How candidate profile expired?
+ After expired profile, How many days require to be eligible for new draw.

If any one has information please post here.

* you have one year from date of creation of profile. After which it will expire.
*Every month there are draws. Sometimes two or three draws.
*The express entry draw works like this:
The points begin from 1200 onwards. So in a draw they decide they want to allow say 3,500 candidates, so the score of the draw is the last candidates score..
Eg; your score maybe lets say 460. You enter the express entry system on the 1st of September. Lets say there is a draw on the 5th. CIC has invited 2,870 candidates. And the last score is 475. As per this example if your score is within 1200-475 you are sent an invite. Now since your score is 460 you may have to wait for the next draw for scores to fall.
*If your profile expires you can make a new profile as soon as that happens and re enter the express entry system the next day.

Thanks JabNas, I was getting confused with how the draw works. Am following the blogs for my sisters application. you explained it really clearly. But I wanted to know if they do the draws per category, say FSW, PNP??? or is it a general draw?

They do both. The last draw was category based (FST, PNP). Good luck.
