how does NYC consulate notify

Hello,

how does NYC consulate notify when/ if visa is issued for person living in US for a US permanent resident?
do they just mail everything back with the return prepaid enevelope with USPS or do they call the applicant???

any input greatly appreciated.

I presume you have sent your application through mail, in that case you will be receiving by mail in the prepaid return envelope unless there is no necessary for a phone call.

ok good to know..yes it was sent via ups mail..do u know how long roughly to be approved the visa? they recieved application march 4
