How can i prove common-law relationship without rental agreements

My boyfriend (PR holder) and I have been staying together in Canada almost one year. so we plan to apply as a common-law relationship.
I came to study and going to apply the work permit.

But we do no have rental agreements as well as utilities bill because we are staying in his family house.

I was wondering how can we prove our relationship without those document.

Consult the checklist in the PR application. Do you have bank statements spanning a year with the family address? CC statements? (Joint bank statements are ideal since they have both of your names.) Government issued ID with the address will also be helpful, although it will need to have been issued from about a year ago to show that you've been living together. Joint phone bills (a year's worth) or separate bills showing the same address will help.

Other possible information that may be accepted (consult the checklist first; this is just my opinion, and I did not apply as common law but we were living with my spouse's parents) - letters from friends/family declaring that you have been living together for that duration, mail delivered to both of you at that address, any other accounts with the address, paystubs spanning the year with the address.

You have to prove not only that you live together, but that you have been living together for a year, continuously, so keep that in mind as you gather documentation. Proving common law can be difficult, but as long as you're thorough, you should still have a good shot.
