Hi Guys,

Me (Canadian citizen) and my partner are looking to apply for common law sponsorship

We lived together (in Sydney Australia) last January 2015 to June 2015 in a rental place that was paid with cash only, no rental lease signed, or any "official" documents. We did however manage to get a letter from our roomates and also from the rental manager when we left.

We have mail that was sent to the same address for both of us (bank accounts/phone bills, and also we setup a shared bank account around March 2015. We have since moved to a new rental with proper shared lease agreements and all that jazz.

Do we have enough documents to prove this?

I would tend to say yes with the letters addressed to you and your wife at the same address, but do you have some of those letters dated from January 2015 as well?

Have your landlord draft a letter stating you and your partner lived at this place with specific dates and have it notarized and it should be enough proof.
