Hi Everyone. I have a question about the hours requirement for CEC. It says in the website that you need to have 1 year of experience working 30 hours/week and have 1560 hours of experience. When I calculate this 30 hours/week x 4 weeks/month x 12 months = 1440 hours. Meaning that 1560 hours criteria is 1 year and 1 month (or 13 months) of full time work not 12 months.
Does this mean when I open the express entry profile I have to have 1560 hours worked or when I receive an ITA and decide to apply for the PR, I need to have 1560 hours worked?
I had 1 year of fulltime experience when I openned my EE profile (I started working in July of 2021 and opened my profile in July 2022). However, when I count the hours from my pay stub, it only adds up to 1432 hours from july 2021 to July 2022. However, when I received my ITA, about 3 months later, I had already fulfilled my 1560 hours/week.
I am now doubting whether or not I actually meet the criteria for CEC. Could you let me know if you think I qualify or not?

I would receommend to re-count. is your job fulltime with 30 or more hours per week ? if so, you should normally have enough hours at your work anniversary + 1 day I think.
Hi, I really appreciate your reply. I recounted the hours but the number stays the same on my first day of work anniversary. However, I have passed the 1560 hours about a month before I received the PNP nomination and my ITA and I continue to work full time so I suppose it will be fine. Thank you!
