Eligibility criteria for federal skilled worker applications
Under changes to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, federal skilled worker applications are assessed for eligibility according to the new NOC list and allocated CAP. Note: This does not apply to applicants intending to live in the province of Quebec.
These criteria affect you only if you applied on or after June 26, 2010. If your application was received before June 26, 2010, it will be processed according to the rules that were in effect at that time

YES IT DOES, BUT AT LEAST PRE JUNE 26 APPLICATIONS WILL BE PROCESSED ACCORDING TO THE RULES THAT WERE IN PLACE AT THE TIME, THUS THE 1000 CAP DOESNT AFFECT SUCH APPLICANTS..........THERE IS DEFINATELY SOMETHING TO BE EXCITED ABOUT.!!

Buddy these sentences were put way back in June 2010, it has no bearing to the way the applications are being processed these days. Yes, obviously rules that were in place that time will be applicable to pre 26 June applicants. So the rules are the same of 2 years old implementation (Nov. 2008), what's new?
Quotas & demands for particular NOC's will determine the way your application will be processed henceforth.

Thanks Donx for sharing, good news obviously. However, the time for processing will obviously not be effected. Good luck to all applicants
