My husband received pre-arrival letter today, how long would that takes for receiving the final PR letter?

I received COPR letter after shown approved online.

Congratulations!

You must be from a visa exemption country so that you don't need to submit passport for visa stamp. For people from non visa exemption countries, there is a step called PPR (Passport Request) to get stamped.

Hi, when you said you received the message from HKVO requesting for photo, may I ask you in which channel you received their message? Is it in your cic.gc.ca 's gc account? I had received the invitation for pre-arrival service on April 30, the the Bulletin 2 on May 10. After that, i hear nothing. A bit worry

Good news.
Pre arrival services letter means you may have completed Eligibility Assessment.
Next will be Background Check before final review to request passport.

I heard there are many interviews going through the HKVO and think they would have notified
you by now for the interview queue. Some bgc's are completed quickly depending on who you
are and maybe even started before the GC key updated. I think it has a lot to do with the agent
and their experience. A Sponsor family through HKVO in my area last year start to finish just over 7 months.
They can make it go faster if they ' see fit '.

Hi, I receive the pre arrival service but my gc account's eligibility is still "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." and for my bgc, it's been long ago with the status "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." Seems like my bgc takes a very long time. Anyone here experience the same as mine. feeling worry
