Hi Ryester, I was think if your wife plans to come on June 4 she would need to quarantine for 14 days correct? so wouldn't you also need to quarantine as well? did you make plan for this? I heard they will ask her at the port of entry what her quarantine plan is.

yes, she would need to and so would I. We have to arrange for groceries for 14 days and we have to make sure there are not vulnerable people (e.g., older people or babies etc.) at home. That is the easy part for us though.

Anyway, you must have a HUGE backlog of wife/husband "homework" to clean...
This 14 day's will give you time to look about this...
Just do not try to clean ALL the backlog in the 14 day's ...

Well I did get an email on 6 th of May about additional documents. It’s probably bcz my husband sent them so many emails , even requested to transfer my files to Canada . Also I am 7 months pregnant... so they asked some proof about my pregnancy etc . But they didn’t mention anything about the interview .
I admire you. My husband doesn't even wanna write any emails to IRCC Hong Kong. He is so confident with waiting for the processing. Even thought I told him other applicants' husbands also wrote many emails to express how eager they wanna have their wives with them. Be honest, I doubt how much he loves me.

We didn't write any emails to IRCC thinking it could cause more delays in the process and just sent them what they requested.
I was at the consulate office in HK last year and seen how busy they are.
Tell your husband to write nice letters with " smiley faces " and send them to you ....Much better than IRCC !
