yes, there is IRCC call center to call, but to call or not to call, that is the question...I don't think you will get any useful or insightful information from call center.
For Ly123’s case, he hit the due day of his application but for my case, the timeline keep extending and I can never get close to the official due date which means I can call the consulate to follow up on anything

I contacted them after waiting on hold for a long time.
The agent was polite and seemed to be informed. They did have
access to the file for information purposes and answered our questions.
Everything is documented and they can add notes to the file so ask reasonable questions.

I have received an email of application forwarded to Hong Kong visa office today. I come here to look for your help. I will appreciate that anyone has received the AOR 2 can share the details of Part One - Document request.
I'm worried about that I did not only just miss the copy of notarized translation of Hukou (people from mainland China need to provide to CIC). I submitted the copy of Hukou without notarized translation version in my application. I didn't realize the notarized translation version needed to accompany with application until I saw other applicant mentioned that the notarized translation needed as well. I'm very worried about that I may also miss some documents needed to submit. With privacy concern, that applicant is not willing to share too much details of Part One - Document request in AOR2. I just wanna check it again with my records whether I also missed other documents. Can anyone share the related details with me here? You can tailor all of your personal private information.
As I know part of content of AOR 2 as follow,
This message is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada as a member of the family class. Your file has now been transferred to the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong for further processing.
This letter is comprised of two parts: the first part is a request for documentation that requires your immediate action. The second part contains general information which you should carefully review.
PART ONE - DOCUMENT REQUEST
In order to prepare your application for further processing, the following documentation must be received by our office within 30 days from the date of this letter:
For the principal applicant and all dependents, whether accompanying you to Canada or not:
=>If not yet submitted: Copy of Hukou (household register) if you reside in the People's Republic of China or Taiwan, accompanied by a notarized translation into either English or French. Translation must be part of the notarized booklet.

If you don't provide details of what is missing, how can we provide detailed help?
if you know/think/realize you are missing some information requested by IRCC, then you should just submit those information within 30 days of request or you risk that your application may be dismissed or returned by IRCC.
Just received the pre-arrival letter ...anyone knows whats after pre-arrival letter and est. how long? and imm guessing pre-arrival letter is good news?

Thank you for your reply. I have tried to provide as much as I know about the AOR 2 details here. What I couldn't provide in further details, it's what I don't know. And this is the reason I asked for your help. I have written all the content of screenshot of AOR 2 what that applicant sent it to me.
I don't have the whole picture or content or the document request list of AOR 2, therefore, I don't know which documents I may miss.
Hopefully my explanation is clear. And I truly hope someone can share the whole request list in AOR2.

I don't understand what you are asking here. It looks like you already know what is missing in your application and you should just submit what is being requested but missing from your application. The request is very clear.
If you don't know what other information is missing, you should check the complete application checklist.
If you don't remember at all what is missing, you may better just resubmit everything that is required in the application.

You said you don't have the whole picture or content ?
Not sure what that's about?
The Document Request they send with your UCI # and Application # should be official and very clear.
Some forms may need to be updated so just resend them if requested. ( With any new information ).
Some items state ' if not yet submitted '. Read the request carefully and send them what they require.
You have 30 days.......Use a reputable courier with a tracking number.

How long does it take for background check after Hong Kong visa office received the application recently?
Thank you
PS: I found out that Sydney, NS office normally transfers the application to Hong Kong visa office on Wednesday (local time, which is Thursday Hong Kong time) after analyzed the spreadsheet.

BGC is really case by case. In my case, it took more than 4 months already, and it is still going...In some other cases I see, they took from a few days to more than a year. Good luck.
