Yes. Make sure the COPR details are correct, name, DOB, passport #, etc. Others have said that there are sometimes mistakes.
Supposedly you also need eTA, but the eTA requirement has been post-poned, so you won't have to get eTA for your passport. Until you land, you are still not a PR, so eTA requirement would apply if there was no postponement.
We were also asked to take new photos when the COPR came. 2 pictures. These need to be presented when landing...I believe they are for the PR card application.

I heard they used to request for copy of passport but recent cases they would send copr directly. Goodluck...check yr ecas, mine changed to decision made the same day I received copr
No, not yet. My spouse applied for eTA early on, as it was not clear how long it would take to get DM/COPR, and we were planning to land in the summer and wait things out if the application was not approved yet.

Police clearance normally takes Three weeks to get to the consulate. And u only did the medical last week, so they probably working on it. It's probably comin soon. And they didn't send me anything before the copr
CIC has once again started giving processing time country-wise on their website. It is 14 months for mainland China and 13 months for HK applicants.
I wish they reduce it to well below 12 months so that nobody has to get the medicals done again. It can be easily done as they have the right to revoke PR or even citizenship obtained through dubious means.

Most likely is because it's expiring soon and copr has an expiry date which is normally the same as your medical. Expiry date. They have to ensure it's long enough Cause not everyone will go to Canada as soon as they get the copr
